Terms and Conditions for Final Touches Cleaning Services
1. Definitions
● "Company" refers to Final Touches Cleaning Services, the provider of domestic cleaning services.
● "Client" refers to the person or entity receiving the services.
● "Cleaner" refers to an employee or subcontractor assigned by the Company.
● "Services" means the cleaning services provided as agreed upon in the booking confirmation.
2. Bookings and Scope of Work
● Services must be booked in advance and will be confirmed via email or text/Whatsapp
● The Company will provide services as agreed in the booking confirmation, and any additional tasks may incur additional charges.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted per per job depending on the service.
● Payments must be made by [bank transfer, cash, card, direct debit, etc.] within 24 hours of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
● The Company reserves the right to suspend services for overdue payments.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
● The Client may cancel or reschedule a booking without charge with at least 48 hours’ notice.
● Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled time will incur a 50% charge.
● Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or upon arrival will be charged 100% of the service fee.
● Repeated cancellations may result in termination of service.
5. Access to Property
● The Client must provide access to the property at the scheduled time.
● If the Cleaner is unable to gain access due to the Client's fault (e.g., no key left, no one home), the full service fee will be charged.
6. Cleaning Materials and Equipment
● The Company will provide its own materials and equipment / use those provided by the Client], as agreed upon booking.
● If the Client is to supply equipment, it must be safe and in good working condition.
7. Liability and Insurance
● The Company is insured for public liability
● The Company will not be liable for: ○ Pre-existing damage. ○ Accidental damage where appropriate care was taken. ○ Costs arising from failure to provide access or incorrect instructions.
● Any damage or dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours of the service.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
● If the Client is not satisfied with the service, the Company will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue at no extra charge, provided it is reported within 24 hours.
9. Health and Safety
● The Company complies with UK health and safety laws.
● Cleaners will not lift heavy items, clean external windows above ground floor, or undertake tasks that present a risk to health or safety.
10. Termination
● Ongoing service agreements may be terminated by either party with 14 days’ written notice.
● The Company may terminate service with immediate effect in cases of: ○ Abusive or unsafe behaviour from the Client. ○ Repeated cancellations or non-payment.
11. Force Majeure
● The Company is not liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond its control (e.g., extreme weather, illness, pandemic restrictions, injury).
12. Data Protection
● The Company complies with the UK GDPR and will only use Client data for service delivery and communication purposes.
13. Governing Law
● These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
14. Acceptance of Terms By booking services with Final Touches Cleaning Services the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
